How to Get on Our Webinars

Not sure how to join one of my GoToWebinar sessions? You’re not alone!
If you’ve been invited to one of my live trainings but aren’t sure how to get on, don’t worry—I’ve made it simple for you.

Start by checking your email for your unique GoToWebinar link—this is what you’ll use to join the session.

To make things even easier, we have created a short video (6 minutes) that walks you through exactly how to join a webinar using GoToWebinar. Please take a few minutes to watch it now so you’ll have the best experience.

System Requirements

To attend a webinar using GoToWebinar, please make sure your device meets these requirements. (Go here for more details.)

Windows 10 or newer

(Joining via Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari may have limitations.)

Computer: 1 Mbps or better (high-speed connection)
Mobile device and Chromebook: 3G or better (WiFi recommended for VoIP audio)

Device requirements

At least 2GB of memory (RAM); 4GB or more is recommended
Microphone and speakers (a USB headset is recommended if you want to speak)

Apple phone or iPad: iOS 15.1 or newer
Android phone or tablet: Android OS 8 (Oreo) or newer

(They recommend downloading the GoTo mobile app.)

Once in the webinar, here’s what to do:

Top right: Open the question box to send messages and ask questions.
Bottom right: Turn on captions.
Zoom options: Zoom in, zoom out, or fit to screen on the right side.
Top Right Chat: View replies and comments from our team.

Alternate Browser Instructions

If the method above of joining a GoToWebinar via your browser doesn’t work, here is an alternate way you can do that.

Use Chrome or Edge with the latest version.
Register for the webinar and find your confirmation email.
Right-click the join link, choose “copy link address”.
Paste it into your browser and add ?clientType=html5 at the end.
Example: https://global.gotowebinar.com/join/2057328506534099723/930505186?clientType=html5 (not a real link)
You’ll land on a preview screen to select your audio.

Note: You won’t be able to unmute or share video during the webinar as an attendee.
