Anca
Anca,
actually it was just 1 year ago that I started acting. It’s something that I never knew I had a passion for before today!
I’ll see you in the course next week!
🙂 Christina
Christina, I love how this video series played out. Great job! The special effects have been beyond great, and this time, especially with the chrome WordPress logo that represents the Wizard. You are SO clever! This is just one of the many reasons your students love working with you: you find clever solutions that make their websites sing. I look forward to joining you in the workshop this semester while watching these new student projects bloom.
So cute Christina,
I have enjoyed this series just as Debra says it really is quite a treat.
It speaks to me in many ways in metaphor, theatre art, site location for filming, i don’t need to go on for you but hopefully other students will go watch the years past as well. I know you’ve have been in the industry yourself. I totally love what you are showing and the progression. It relates to my work as it does Debra’s. Writing prompts helping with casting, sets and costume, design of set and location, characterization. I work with both the industry and writers. But more importantly it shows everyone that they can do this!
Your script was awesome. Relevant. But mostly i just want to say the ability that is you show us in the videos from day one is awe inspiring. I dont know how many takes it took to get Julia Childs but i imagine either you are 9really) good at improvasation or it was many cause there are no transitions. This year your transisitions are put together with text images and acting and with extreme perfection!
Seriously what a tremendous lesson that all of us can do this. Look at what you manage to do, get accomplished, you rock!
Perhaps next year ought to be “Wonder Woman?” And your cute daughter the nasty evil web-master! lol
see ya in class!
Fondly,
Trudy
Trudy,
Yes, the funny thing about the “Julia Child” videos (https://websitecreationworkshop.com/fun-videos/julia-child-videos/) is that I did those total improv in 1 or 2 takes.
Creating these fun videos has been fun and exciting for my husband and daughter. (did you notice that my 1 daughter played both parts of “Dorothy” and the “Witch”. My husband did a great job editing those!
We are already brainstorming on our next set of fun spoof videos for the spring
😉
I really like your blog.. very nice colors & theme. Did you make this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you? Plz reply as I’m looking to design my own blog and would like to find out where u got this from. thanks a lot
I used the Flexx theme from http://www.flexxqueen.com and then I customized it myself.
