I decided the new skill I’d learn during Covid lockdown would be web design, and I couldn’t have chosen a better teacher and program than the Website Creation Workshop. Christina Hills is a teacher’s teacher ( I say that as a teacher!) She has tremendous facility teaching technical skills and breaking them down in a simple, non-overwhelming process that is actually fun, especially to a non-technical audience. She is logical as well as creative in the perfect balanced combination. She understands creative multi-faceted people who are working with more than one niche, yet provides structure and sound advice at the same time. I have taken almost all of her different programs at this point, and each one has delivered far beyond my expectations.
Above all, Christina instills confidence and independence in her students so that a non-technical solo entrepreneur can manage their own online presence independently without stress, multiple contractors or overwhelm. This newfound freedom, confidence and independence to be able to update my websites anytime I want on my own timeline is absolutely priceless. I’ve even noticed benefits outside the class, in that I am more eager to tackle complex technical things a lot more lately because of my overall increased technical skills.
Last but not least, Christina’s support team is absolutely amazing. They are the nicest group of ladies who went above and beyond on so many occasions to help me go live on schedule. You guys are the best. I highly recommend the Website Creation Workshop to anyone who wants to gain full mastery and independence over their websites and online presence. Thanks Christina, and thank you to the wonderful Website Creation Workshop team!
Another great video Christina! Your daughter is so cute, makes me remember when mine was that age!
Having taken this course and coming back in as an alumni, I highly recommend your course. I barely could move pictures to my emails before taking your course. Now, I have a website, blog and so much more. I am constantly updating it and all without a webmaster. Amazing course. Don’t hesitate to sign up for Christina’s upcoming course. Like me, I’m sure you will be more than amazed at what you can accomplish through this wonderful course. Christina is the icing on the cake, she is a great teacher and makes sure all her students accomplish much more than they thought they could.
Sheree,
I love when past students take the time to come and comment here on my blog!
And thanks for your testimonial on this page:

🙂
Christina:
You are so creative, I love your stuff and am looking into taking your course because I want to be able to be my own webmaster. My question is: Can you put your own graphics within the themes such as logos and colors?
Maureen,
You can have a header graphic, you can have graphics on the side bars, and you can have graphics in your posts and pages.
So the answer is Yes!
Sounds great, very excited for the 16th!
Christina… your marketing creativity keeps me interested … I appreciate you..
I have a few questions about the Website Creation workshop….
Because I know the basics of wordpress, I was wondering if you will also address some of the more advanced areas in your workshop?..
I’m no expert but I would love to learn the following:
Customizing the Headers with photos & images…
Using wp for a stand alone landing page with opt-in autoresponder forms….
How to better use Tags and keywords for attracting more traffic…
Changing tabs to fit content…
Pros and Cons of popular plugins…
How to create a static page website look…
How to edit style sheets…
Managing comments …limiting the # of times one can comment?
Naming pages for better SEO…
Tips on how to use images…
Tips on intalling slideshows
Tips on using carousels in headers…e.a News style templates…
Changing colors in templates…
Changing fonts in templates…
How to use shopping carts on WP…
My goal is to set up multiple wp sites in different niches using them more like a static website without comments or daily posts…
Will you be teaching some or all of the above in this workshop or should I study the wp forums to answer each question?
John,
Yes, the course will cover all of those things. Some in more depth than others.
The sales letter will be up on Tuesday March 16th, and I’ll be doing a preview call then for that.
using WP as an opt in page and sales letter can take more formatting and is not always a slam dunk easy thing. Sometimes that requires more skill.
Since this is a coaching program as well as an online course, you bring YOUR questions to the Q&A workshops and we can take a look at what you are doing.
So stay tuned when

This was just a great way to introduce WP Land! Love it! Thanks for making it fun and easy for others.
Tarja,
I got more videos coming this week too!
And the Oscar goes to……Christina and Maggie! Thanks for these fun and informative movies!
For all of you who, like me, had not a clue where to begin with building my own website,I am reminded of a scene in Lewis Carroll’s book in which Alice says:”It would be nice if something made sense for a change”.
With Christina’s expert, fun and in-depth instruction everything about Website Creation and WordPress does make sense. Christina is such an inspiring, knowledgeable and very patient teacher. She has a knack for finding out exactly what her students need and goes above and beyond to help each student achieve his/her goal. As an alumni I am really excited to return to “WordPressland” for more fun adventures!
Anette,
I look forward to having you return as an alumni!
Wow, I feel as though I’ve already learned more by viewing your promotions than some trainings offer in their entirety! As others have pointed out, these videos are creative, they give us an insight to your personality, and, most importantly, they illustrate how comfortable and easy it is to learn from you! Thank you, thank you. Oh, and thank Maggie too.
Peggy,
Thanks for your comments!
Yes, if you cannot have fun with it, then what’s the point!
In my course we have a lot of fun, and that’s what I want to convey here in my promo videos
I truly enjoy your videos….I know nothing about making a website but feel I am getting a good idea through you videos.
My question is I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up…so I don’t even have a clue on what kind of website I might want to create. I might have to decide quickly because I am getting laid off after 17 years in about 3 weeks.
Any suggestions? Not about what I want to be (ha ha) but if taking the class before I know what I want to do with it would be a good idea.
Thanks,
Linda
Linda,
Congratulations on getting laid off! You are now entering an exciting place to be: freedom! By taking the course, you will get exposed to a lot of possibilities of what you may want to do when you ‘grow up’. LOL!
The more you learn, the more valuable you are to yourself, or to another employer (if you decide to go back to corporate).
Keep these great “Alice” videos coming. Just love seeing the creativity of you and Maggie.
Carol
Developing a website seems easier than I thought with your show and tell videos. Are websites for authors different from other websites? Do you give input for developing a website to sell a book? That would be the main focus for the website that I would develop.
Ruth,
I have many students who are authors and are developing websites for their books.
It all depends upon if you want to sell your book from your site, or if you want to have people buy your book through your amazon link. I teach that in the course.
Dear Christina,
Thank you for using my website as an example.
Check out the new look in a few days!
It was great to make a real connection with you at the Teleseminar Reunion.
I appreciate who you are and your dedication to making your workshops all they can be for your students. You put so much of yourself into it.
With sincere warmth,
Teresa
Teresa,
You are welcome! Your site makes a great example! I too was very happy to meet you in person, and am really looking forward to connecting with you again in the classroom.
🙂
It would be great to have the course schedule so I can make room on my super-busy schedule!
The schedule is already online for you to calendar.
