“When I first took Christina’s Website Creation Workshop a few years ago, I was what you’d call the ultimate newbie. I didn’t have any computer experience at all other than barely being able to do email and then I’d even mess up!
As I work on my most recent website, vegeliciouskitchen.com, I often think about how there’s no way that I would have ever been able to understand WordPress and build and maintain a website without the Website Creation Workshop. To me, maintaining a website is also a big part of having one. If you hired a developer to build one for you, you would then still have to know how to run it!
Christina’s patient teaching style takes you through learning WordPress in a very sequential way so it’s not difficult to grasp. On the calls you’ll probably hear her regularly saying, “so where am I and what am I doing?” This is Christina’s way of going over what she was teaching you and re-explaining what she did. She wants to make sure you’re grasping what she’s teaching.
Each student gets a student project that lets you experiment hands on with what you’re learning before you ever publish your website. It’s like having a WordPress playground that no one sees but you and your teacher!
