Case Study: Lori created this new mobile-friendly site for the non-profit Gap Fillers Flathead. The group is well-known through its community, paying off school lunch debt, providing feminine hygiene products, and ensuring that schools have emergency medications/defibrillators for life-threatening events. GFF had a website but couldn’t provide updates, take donations or needs requests, recruit volunteers, or even make basic changes because of the old one-page site design and theme. Using the Divi theme, I redesigned the home page to provide a GFF overview for visitors and show them how they could donate to the group. I also added a blog component so GFF could share news and updates directly with their community weekly.

“I owe Christina and her team a big THANKS!”

I originally took the Website Creation Workshop with Christina in 2013. I created my first site for a client shortly afterwards but didn’t do much with my newfound skills until this past year.
I am an ecommerce consultant, and while I’ve always provided website development/design strategy to my own clients, they usually had their own website team in house. This year, frustrated with their own teams, several clients asked if I could actually do the websites myself.
I knew that the WordPress world had changed considerably since 2013, so I took the refresher Website Creation Workshop course again in 2022. And I owe Christina and her team a big THANKS! As of 2023, I include website services in my business offerings.
