Oh and I am curious, have you ever had your website locked up by a wicked webmaster?
Tell me about it in the comments below…
Chistina, WOW, your videos are getting really good!
Joe,
Thanks so much for your comment. Yes we keep pushing the envelope on these videos
Christina!
BRAVO! just BRAVO!
Now what I want to see are the out-takes…
~ Jeff
Jeff,
Hmmm…. a compilation of out-takes is a good idea!
😉
Wow, amazing video. When will you do a class on creating video? 🙂
Sandra,
I’ve been contemplating doing something like that. It’s funny but we’ve only been doing this for a year now.
First it was “Julia Child”:
https://websitecreationworkshop.com/fun-videos/julia-child-videos/
Then it was “Alice in WordPress Land”
https://websitecreationworkshop.com/fun-videos/alice-in-wordpress-land/
And now it’s “The WordPress of Oz”!
Fun stuff!
I agree with Joe~really great!
Linda,
I’m glad you enjoyed them, we had fun making them.
Christina:
You knocked it out of the park again! You are amazing! I really enjoyed this video. This video is awesome. Cannot wait to share it. Here is an idea…package a “How to” video. I am sure your students would love to know how to do this. Look forward to returning as an alumni again! Your teachings are incredible!
Warmly,
Cheryl Lynn

LOL!
Incredibly funny, playful and creative! Thank you. It’s inspiring. I took your free webinar but I do intend to take some of your courses and to finally learn how to build my own website.
Corrinne,

I just can’t seem to get my webmaster to move ahead with the launch of my site! I’ve provided all the content, written a blog, submitted my paypal information. So I think I’m going to have to learn to do it myself., That prospect is daunting, so I’ve signed up for your teleconference.
Hi Layne,
I had hit some sticking points myself with a webmaster. Suddenly I realized he was in control of my event release schedule as necessary updates on my website were made at his whim instead of the agreed upon times when I needed them. That left me feeling very frustrated and helpless. I also had to make business decisions made based on his claims of: “Oh, that will be VERY expensive.” With all the mystery and exaggerations it felt a lot like a game of “Keep Away”. I was not amused!
I made up my mind then and there to learn the necessary skills to be in control of my websites no matter what it might take.
After taking Christina’s Website Creation Workshop these words came to me:
“Learn WordPress and take the keys to your future into your own hands.”
Here’s to business owner empowerment!
That was so cute- loved it. 🙂

My daughter now wants to build her OWN email list so she can send out the videos on her site! LOL!
We have fun thinking up ideas for WordPress videos
See you again in the next workshop
Bravo that was great! You tought my wife Katrina to create my website. I now get 1,000 of hits per week and lots of compliments. Before she met you I would ask EVIL web masters to create me a site, they would say a site like that costs 5 to 10k??? Also they would dissapear and I couldn’t get a hold of them, it SUCKED! I’m so glad she met you. Now she is my Glenda and together we rule our Oz and 1 other thing I want to know how you made that video 🙂 that was really good.
Capt,
Yes, I hear that story all the time about webmasters holding you up and charging through the nose..
I’m glad you have your own “Glenda”
😉
Hello ‘My Pretty’
WOW!
SUPERB!
Not only is the acting great, the info is wonderful. I’m newbie to your work and MUST say, I’m going to become an ‘oldie’ real quick.
Question: I started 4 WordPress blogs a year ago then life got in the way; he has now moved out and I want to get back to my blogs.
PROBLEM… I no forgot my passwords…duh! So I ask WP and they keep sending a password change to my OLD DEAD email address and 2 months later I still cannot get into my WordPress blogs.
I’m now over at shhh..blogspot.com shhhh. Shall I rip my tongue out for saying the B.S. word? lol
HAD to do something to get started!!
I sure hope you can cover a problem like that in one of your videos.
OR
Is it possible to get some help personally from you?
I can’t even get my WordPress Gravatar to show up…boo hoo.
Keep up the SUPERB WORK.
When my OFFICIAL blog gets going I’m going to make you an honorary S.E. (if that’s ok with you, smile)

Caroline
Caroline,
sometimes it takes a while for the gravatar to show up.
But your’s is showing now!
Dear Christina,
Hilarious video; great work.
I am not at the mercy of my webmaster because he designed my site to be edited in Adobe Contribute.
Mary
Mary,
I am familiar with Contribute and glad that you are happy with it. I just think that WordPress is a more powerful platform.
Hi Christina,
Coming from the acting world I found the videos in the “side bar” both creative and entertaining! I’m looking forward to checking out you course on building WP sites. It seems as though you make simple for non-techie people like myself.
Matt
Each time I watch this video I get a kick out of it
My webmaster could only work on my site during the winter if he wasn’t working. And then his wife’s website needs came first. AND he’s now saying that the program he used is too old to make any changes/additions. So, my old website is several year behind me.
That’s why I finally decided to take your fall course and am really looking forward to the coaching one coming up. I’m amazed at what I’ve been able to accomplish so far & can’t wait to get back to doing more with it as my eye surgery continues to heal. And if I do come across a problem either you or your staff is usually able to help within a day or too. Thanks so much for your patience.
Rivian
Cute video! The Wizard of Oz happens to be my favorite movie; it’s great to see your version. I can’t wait to learn more about working with Worpress websites.
I’ve always loved spoofs, and yours are great. I was thinking you also did one on Little Red Riding Hood, but maybe that was somebody else (a few years ago). Or was it you, and you forgot to list it?
Yes I did do one on Little Red Riding Hood, but will re-release that one at a later date. Glad you like the fun videos!
I love it, Christina. So much fun and so sweet and cute. Thanks.
Elena,
Glad you liked it! There are 4 in the series. Look for the links to the other videos on this blog post
Now that’s thinking out of the box. Very creative.
Food for thought ….. Did you know her shoes were originally silver. Not many know that anymore.
When Dorothy’s house lands, killing the Wicked Witch of the East, Dorothy is given a pair of magic slippers. In the book and the play the shoes are silver, not ruby as they were famously depicted in the 1939 film. In his reading of The Wizard of Oz, Littlefield believed that Dorothy was a stand-in for the average American, and that the magic silver shoes represented the late 1890s free silver movement. During the severe depression of 1893-1896, many Populists believed that the federal government should adopt an inflationary monetary policy, freely minting silver money, in order to re-energize the national economy. In contrast, Littlefield thought Oz’s yellow brick road represented the existing gold standard, which fixes U.S. paper currency to a specific price for gold bullion. In his reading, the Emerald City, the terminus of the yellow brick road, is Washington, D.C. http://americanhistory.si.edu/blog/populism-oz
Angus,
I did’t know about that fact that the shoes used to be silver! Thanks for sharing
