I am one of those people that had no interest in computers and really didn’t get them. I am an attorney and was perfectly capable of performing tasks on the computer that were required in my profession, i.e. drafting briefs, sending emails, converting documents, etc. But when I tried to build my own website, it just did not make any sense to me. Until I took the Website Creation Workshop.
I took your class because I hate the idea of being dependent on someone else to manage my website. Since I was starting a new business, I knew that my website would have to grow and evolve as I got going and that I would need to adapt my website quickly to my business needs. Plus, I just don’t have time to wait for someone else to manage my website, and quite frankly, did not want to pay someone else either. That is why I decided to invest in myself and take your class. And I am so glad that I did.
I now understand the concepts behind building a website. I am able to make any changes I want, whenever I want. It is very liberating. Plus, I was able to impress my husband with my website creation skills. Bonus!
It took me almost a year, in the midst of quitting my job, selling my house and moving across the world to finish my website. Fortunately, your workshop is designed to allow flexibility. I stopped when I had to but was able to pick up the learning modules right where I left off. My website is now up and running and I expect to add to it rather quickly as I go out in the world and help people become unstuck and create a plan for escaping corporate servitude and enjoying a life of passion, meaning and freedom.
