Having taken this course and coming back in as an alumni, I highly recommend your course. I barely could move pictures to my emails before taking your course. Now, I have a website, blog and so much more. I am constantly updating it and all without a webmaster. Amazing course. Don’t hesitate to sign up for Christina’s upcoming course. I have a few questions about the Website Creation workshop….

Because I know the basics of wordpress, I was wondering if you will also address some of the more advanced areas in your workshop?..

I’m no expert but I would love to learn the following:

Customizing the Headers with photos & images…
Using wp for a stand alone landing page with opt-in autoresponder forms….
How to better use Tags and keywords for attracting more traffic…
Changing tabs to fit content…
Pros and Cons of popular plugins…
How to create a static page website look…
How to edit style sheets…
Managing comments …limiting the # of times one can comment?
Naming pages for better SEO…
Tips on how to use images…
Tips on intalling slideshows
Tips on using carousels in headers…e.a News style templates…
Changing colors in templates…
Changing fonts in templates…
How to use shopping carts on WP…

My goal is to set up multiple wp sites in different niches using them more like a static website without comments or daily posts…

Will you be teaching some or all of the above in this workshop or should I study the wp forums to answer each question?

  Yes, the course will cover all of those things. Some in more depth than others.
  
  The sales letter will be up on Tuesday March 16th, and I’ll be doing a preview call then for that.
  
  using WP as an opt in page and sales letter can take more formatting and is not always a slam dunk easy thing. Sometimes that requires more skill.
  
  Since this is a coaching program as well as an online course, you bring YOUR questions to the Q&A workshops and we can take a look at what you are doing.

For all of you who, like me, had not a clue where to begin with building my own website,I am reminded of a scene in Lewis Carroll’s book in which Alice says:”It would be nice if something made sense for a change”.

I truly enjoy your videos….I know nothing about making a website but feel I am getting a good idea through you videos.

My question is I don’t know what I want to be when I grow up…so I don’t even have a clue on what kind of website I might want to create. I might have to decide quickly because I am getting laid off after 17 years in about 3 weeks.

Any suggestions? Not about what I want to be (ha ha) but if taking the class before I know what I want to do with it would be a good idea.

  Congratulations on getting laid off! You are now entering an exciting place to be: freedom! By taking the course, you will get exposed to a lot of possibilities of what you may want to do when you ‘grow up’. LOL!
  The more you learn, the more valuable you are to yourself, or to another employer (if you decide to go back to corporate).

Developing a website seems easier than I thought with your show and tell videos. Are websites for authors different from other websites? Do you give input for developing a website to sell a book? That would be the main focus for the website that I would develop.

  I have many students who are authors and are developing websites for their books.
  
  It all depends upon if you want to sell your book from your site, or if you want to have people buy your book through your amazon link. I teach that in the course.
