The 4 Web Hosting Companies We Use

One of the common questions that I hear in the Website Creation Workshop™ is, “What web hosting companies or companies should I use for my website?”

Well, there are a lot of web hosting companies. Some are good, and some are not so good. We look for hosting companies that are geared towards the not super techie person. I won’t mention the ones that I don’t like. Instead, I’ll share with you the top three web hosting companies we like.

Our Top 4 Web Hosting Companies:

#1 – GreenGeeks

We love Greengeeks because they are fast and VERY responsive! They are excellent low-cost website hosting

We use GreenGeeks web hosting for the Website Creation Workshop™ and love their support! And they are Green!

#2 – Siteground

Siteground is a fast and nimble company. It ranks near the top in uptime (99.99%) and has fast loading speeds.

Uptime and speed are critical features when choosing a web hosting company. Uptime means the amount of time the site is up. You want your site to be available and load quickly for visitors. Many visitors will leave your site if it doesn’t load within a few seconds.

Siteground has top-notch, expert customer support and 24/7 live chat support. They have tons of great tools and features that you can use to manage your WordPress site. The StartUp plan costs around $11.95 per month, but they often have special deals for new signups. Right now, get a new Siteground Account for .33 cents a month. Bluehost is one of the most popular, low-cost hosting options for new websites. Bluehost ranks great in uptime at 99.99%. Its speed is better than Siteground, at 405 ms.

I’ve been using Bluehost for over 10 years, and they are very easy to reach on the phone. The regular price of the basic plan is $7.99 per month. #4 – Hostinger

Hostinger is another affordable web hosting company that we like, especially for people who are just getting started with WordPress. Their hosting dashboard is easy to use, and they offer 24/7 customer support if you need help.

Their WordPress hosting includes features such as automatic backups, free SSL, and tools designed specifically for WordPress. They also offer some very affordable introductory pricing, which makes Hostinger a good option if you’re building your first website and want to keep your costs down.

We have used Hostinger ourselves and have found it to be a good option for non-techies who want reliable WordPress hosting without spending a lot of money.
