What’s New in WordPress 3.6 – “Oscar”

The new version of WordPress 3.6 came out about one week ago and I wanted to give you some of the hi-lights of the new changes.

This release was dedicated to the Jazz pianist, Oscar Peterson. Here is a short fun video from WordPress.org folks with some highlights of the new features:

Here are some of the highlights of WordPress 3.6:

1) The Menus have been revamped to accommodate for multiple menus, and to more easily edit your menus (as the admin) on a mobile device.
2) There is a new theme 2013! That is big bright and colorful and is mobile responsive.

3) An easier way to recover a revision if you make a mistake and need to go back to an older version of your page/post

4) Audio and Video can now be automatically embed in your pages and posts by just adding a link to the file

5) If you are working with someone else inside your WordPress site, there is now post locking so you don’t accidentally step over each other’s work

6) Better auto saves to keep from loosing your work!
