One key to understanding WordPress and the power of the feed is to understand RSS (Really Simple Syndication). Now at first glance that term seems kinda techy and geeky, but once you understand it, you see the power of how WordPress gets your website syndicated out over the whole internet. That’s more exposure for you and your business without you having to do anything. WordPress does it all for you. I found this great little video that explains RSS in 3 min 44 seconds. It uses the term ‘blogs’ but your WordPress Website can be a blog or not a blog.

The great thing about WordPress, is that RSS is baked into it. You don’t need to add any plugins or anything to have an RSS feed for your blog.

you can add an rss feed to an html site, but you need to build it by hand. With wordpress it’s built for you

Yes, in most instances you can use WordPress to duplicate your website. I’m in the process of moving many of my sites over to WordPress. It’s easier to manage a website with WordPress
