Just this past week, we moved into a new home! It’s just 25 miles away from where we were before, but as you can imagine, there are so many things to do with any kind of move. Needless to say, things have been hectic for the last couple of weeks. But we are so happy with our new home and neighborhood we can’t complain. Below is a photo of my new office (“Under Construction”) with bright sunlight coming through the window.
There are obviously more things to do to get this office in shape! But once complete, I know this will be a very functional and great place to run my business and conduct training webinars from. You might have experienced something like this with your website, too. I certainly have. When you move your website, or when you build a new website, there will be times when the website is not yet ready for the public view. However, if you already have an established website URL, you don’t want to shut down the website during the “construction” period and make people think your site has disappeared in the virtual universe! That’s when the “Under Construction” or “Coming Soon” plugins come in handy. When you install and turn on an “Under Construction” plugin, your website visitors will see a page, indicating your website is under construction and will be made live soon. Below are some of the many available plugins to accomplish this:Under Construction / Coming Soon Plugins to Check Out
Under Construction Plugin

Note:
Jeremy Massel abandoned his plugin, and it was then taken over by someone else. That person has placed ads in the back end, that you may find annoying. So we are recommending this plugin instead: https://wordpress.org/plugins/mojo-under-construction/
